DSI’s 8th Annual Human Performance & Biosystems Summit will convene senior leaders from the Department of War, Military Research Laboratories, Industry, and Academia to discuss the policies, strategies, and innovations shaping the future of Warfighter human performance. As warfare becomes increasingly multi-domain and cognitively demanding, the Summit will highlight integrated, data-driven approaches that enhance readiness, resilience, and lethality across the Joint Force. The 2026 program will spotlight efforts to optimize physical, cognitive, psychological, and social performance through Human Performance Optimization initiatives such as Total Force Fitness (TFF), the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F), the Marine Corps Total Fitness (MCTF), and the Navy’s Operational Fitness and Fueling System (NOFFS), emphasizing prevention-focused, sustainable models that reduce injury, improve recovery, and strengthen long-term force readiness.

This year’s Summit will explore the integration of wearable biosensors, digital health platforms, artificial intelligence, and advanced data analytics to personalize training, inform leadership decisions, and improve human performance outcomes at scale. Senior leaders will address policy alignment, data governance, ethical considerations, and the operationalization of human performance technologies across training, deployment, and sustainment cycles. Additional joint discussions will examine implementation lessons learned, performance metrics, and best practices from across the Services, including the expanding role of multidisciplinary teams, sleep and nutrition optimization, cognitive readiness, and mental performance training. Attendees of the 8th Annual Human Performance & Biosystems Summit will gain critical insight into the strategies, programs, technologies, and partnerships required to enhance Warfighter readiness, sustain peak performance, and maintain a resilient, adaptable Joint Force—both on and off the battlefield.
DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summit’s content and focus areas. We will assemble the most respected minds in the human performance community, including operational leaders, key policymakers, DoD labs, industry, and academia. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all involved organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
Gain Education & Insight:Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing the DoW and Military Services as it relates to human performance and biosystems.
Build Partnerships:The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogues among all in attendance.
Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments or ideas.
DSI’s Summit directly supports DoW & Federal Government priorities by providing a conduit for officials to efficiently reach audiences outside of their respective offices that directly impact their department’s mission success, at no charge to the government, and in an efficient expenditure of time.
DSI’s Summit will provide a forum to address and improve internal and external initiatives, meet with and hear from partner organizations, disseminate vital capability requirements to industry, increase visibility within the larger community, and generally support their mission.
The Summit is open and complimentary to all DoW and Federal employees and is considered an educational training forum, and a widely attended gathering.
